Our base is located in Castanheira de Pera, also known as the Portuguese heart of enduro. We couldn't believe our eyes the first time we rode here. Portugal has public trails that stretch the entire length of this beautiful country. It truly has it all, from hundreds of miles of fast flowing single track to extreme hill climbs and beautiful lakeside rides we have everything you could ever want.
The region's natural landscape is equally diverse from dense eucalyptus, pine and oak forests to the rocky mountain tops of glacier fed lakes. The seasons here really do provide the perfect weather and riding conditions.
We have fast and flowing streams to dried river beds. If you need to build some confidence we have a river crossing to suit you.
Whether it's rugged, rocky hill climbs or slippy tree roots in the forest the rolling hills here offer a great variety.
Once out of the trees and back on the fire tracks its great chance to pick up some speed and get your breath back. The wildlife in these areas is something to behold.
Even in the Winter months you can find yourself seeking out some afternoon shade. With so much forest riding to choose from its not hard to find a relaxing stop to cool off.
For the best views head into the mountains, thankfully we are spoilt for choice when it comes to photo points.
Its what we have all come here for 200kms of perfect single track, right on our door step. From squeezing between towering pine trees to technical descents the tracks here will leave a huge grin on your face.
